I'm suppose to be cleaning my house...but I would rather show you the pictures of my trip to Chicago. Pat took me to Chicago for our anniversary. We had a great time walking around the city, enjoying the restaurants and bars, and going to the museum.
{ the view from the condo we stayed at...Field Museum }
{ underneath the center of the Cloud Gate }
{ Pat and LB's reflection }
{ BP Bridge, a steel sided bridge that winds through the park..look close and you'll see me }
{ Pat and the headless statues in Grant Park }
The staues are just standing in the middle of the park. You can get a sense of how tall they are because Pat is 6'5.
{ the Chicago Tribune building is embedded with pieces of famous places...one of our favorites, of course, is Scotland }
{ the WTC embedded in the Chicago Tribune }

This is just one the many pieces in the building. There were things from China, Istanbul, Paris, England, Philippines and more.
{ The city...off to the left is Sears Tower }
and just behind Pat is the John Hancock building where we went to the 95th floor. As you go up the elevator your ears pop.

There are very interesting artifacts here...but the most famous is "Sue" the dino. Just behind the museum is the aquarium and planetarium. And to the side is Soldier Field. Maybe next time we'll get to see those places.

{ Sue and Pat }
That's just a few of the places we went. We walked everywhere! Millenium Park, Grant Park, Lakeshore, Navy Pier, the Magnificant Mile {shopping!}, the Hancock building, Field Museum, chinatown {and had a few drinks at Grace's O'Malleys}. It's a great city and I hope we get the chance to go back again.
