{ a post for my friend...}

Just a post for my friend Beth...don't worry about me being on week 2. I'm going to run an 8k in March, first (just to get started back into running). I hope to run the half marathon in Sept. All you need to do is pick a run you want to do, and then allow at least 12 weeks to train before the run. I'm going to train 16 weeks, just so I can work up my mileage slowly. I think I'm going to redo my training schedule and just run 2 miles/ 2 times a week and have a long run on the weekend (slowly adding miles until I get to 10-12 miles). It's easier to follow and probably better for my ankle. So, if you want to start now (or soon), just walk/run 2 miles twice a week.
It would be great if you would like to come up to VA to run with me in September. Or maybe we could run together in FL (one day). Once you start running, just keep me posted on your miles!

I have a great song for running...Melissa Ethridge / I run for life (I think that's the title). It's a great song to keep you motivated.

By the way, do you have an email address?
